Qualifying, credentialed consumer and trade media are welcome to apply for complimentary press pass to 2025 Cruise360

PRESS POLICY - please read closely as terms have been updated from prior years

Convention organizers will issue complimentary media credentials to journalists intending to report on the convention's exhibition and conference sessions. CLIA reserves the right to limit the amount of credentialed press to attend the 2024 conference.

Media must fall under one of the following eligible categories to register and demonstrate distribution in the travel advisor channel, not solely consumer channels:

  • PRINT MEDIA AND NEWS WIRE SERVICES 
  • MEDIA PHOTOGRAPHERS
  • BROADCAST MEDIA – (Includes television and radio broadcast reporters, camera/sound crew and producers from news organizations.)
  • FREELANCE WRITERS – (Must be working on assignment for an accredited news organization.)
  • ONLINE PUBLICATIONS, NEWSLETTERS and TRAVEL/LIFESTYLE BLOGS – (Online sites must regularly update original news content and have a readership of more than 2,500 per month covering the travel, lifestyle, cruise industry or hospitality industry.)

Categories NOT Eligible:

  • Fan sites, and personal websites do not qualify for media credentials.
  • Media outlets with less than 2,500 readers, viewers, views.
  • Marketing, advertising, public relations, account and sales representatives or executives, presidents, publishers, CEOs, board members, consultants, authors, analysts and researchers may not register as media.
  • Travel agent proprietary blogs or newsletters

The convention's media relations staff can request additional forms of verification of an individual's credentials at any time. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Business card with media outlet name, individual's name and title, and address.
  • Name and title listed in a masthead.
  • A bylined article.
  • A written letter of assignment from an editor.
  • If applicable, samples of previously published Cruise360 coverage if you've attended in the last two years.

The media relations staff may contact journalists who were granted credentials after the convention to request clippings or other evidence of coverage.

CLIA and its media relations representatives reserve the right to deny media credentials to individuals who abuse the privilege or obtain credentials under false pretenses. In the event an individual is granted credentials and fails to report on the exhibition and conference, he or she might be denied media registration at subsequent conventions.  

What does my Press Pass include?

  • General Sessions, Hall of Fame Cruise Industry Awards & Gala Dinner, and the Cruise360 Trade Show You have full access with no limitations to any of these sessions.
  • CLIA Seminars, Product & Destination Workshops, Cruise Line Showcases If space allows, Press will be admitted on a standby basis after all agents have entered the room. 

What does my Press Pass not include?

  • Pre-Conference Programs, Premier Summit, Graduate Reception, VIP Reception, Sponsored Meals 
  • Ship Inspections are not included in the Press Pass
