About Us
Our company operates a world class attraction, which has been in operation for 48 years and we have current capacity to entertain upwards of 1500 passengers per day. Conway Scenic Railroad operates over two historic rail routes out of North Conway, New Hampshire, with a combined mileage of 53 miles through the majestic white mountains. Our iconic North Conway Village station, vintage roundhouse, freight house and surrounding outbuildings, date back to 1874 and are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

We offer three different daily excursions, North Conway to Conway, which is an 11-mile, 55-minute roundtrip, a 25 mile, 2 1/4-hour North Conway to Sawyers River roundtrip, and then the 50 mile, 4 hour round-trip excursion from North Conway to Crawford Notch. We operate two distinctly different train sets, one utilizing 1920’s vintage equipment which also features a former Pullman Palace car, which is the oldest passenger car in continual service in the United States, being that it just turned 124 years old. Our second train set is reminiscent of the transcontinental trains of the 1940’s and 1950’s and feature three dome cars which are extremely popular with our guests.
