Wendy Wu Tours is a leading, award-winning China and Southeast Asia specialist tour operator with offices in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the U.K. and the U.S. Wendy Wu, who was born in Tibet and grew up in China, founded the company. After completing her studies, she moved to Australia where she began working for American Express, sending her very first group tour to China in 1994. Realizing that her expertise and business acumen combined with a relatively untapped market were the perfect match for success in this field, Wendy set up her own company in Australia in 1998. The company subsequently opened offices in the U.K. in 2004 and in the U.S. in 2010. The company offers tours throughout China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Japan, India and Sri Lanka.
