About Us
The Catalan Tourist Board is the official body for promoting the Catalan tourist industry abroad.
Catalonia is Spain’s top tourist destination and one of the leading destinations in Europe, receiving 24 million tourists per year, 14 million of which from abroad.

As well as the traditional visit to the capital, Barcelona, Catalonia has a great deal more to offer: from the impressive peaks of the Pyrenees, to the 580 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline, and symbolic cities such as Girona, Tarragona and Lleida. Catalonia’s tourism offering is organised around products such as family, sporting, active, cultural, rural, nautical, gastronomic, accessible, snow, business, golf and health and wellbeing.

Since 2011, the Catalan Tourist Board has a representative office in New York, in charge of the North American markets.
