About Us
The Port of Seattle is a public agency that creates jobs by advancing tourism, trade and commerce, promoting industrial growth, and stimulating economic development.

Located in Seattle, the Port sits at the water’s edge of this vibrant and approachable US city. The Port will serve seven cruise lines and nearly a million passengers in 2013, and as such is the U.S. West Coast’s largest cruise port.

All Seattle cruises are round-trip to Alaska. Two downtown cruise terminals (three berths total) and convenient air travel connections make Seattle the preferred choice for Alaska or Pacific Northeast cruises.

The Port owns and operates Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, handling more than 33 million passengers in 2012.

The Port of Seattle Commission has set a target of adding 100,000 new jobs in the region in the next 25 years through economic growth, while at the same time reducing its environmental footprint. A key strategy is to advance the region as a leading tourism destination and business gateway.
