About Us
Flamingo Gardens is a one stop eco experience. This 60 acre, not for profit, Botanical Garden and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary is the perfect visit for a true South Florida Experience.

The Wray Botanical Collection is 60 acres with over 3,000 species of rare and exotic, tropical, subtropical and native plants. It features 20 of the largest trees of their species, Florida Champion Trees, including the largest tree in the state as certified by the Florida Forestry service.

The Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the largest collection of Florida native wildlife and includes Alligators, Bobcats, Otters, Eagles, Panthers, Peacocks and of course, Flamingos. It is residence to over 90 species of birds and animals, most of which are permanently injured and/or non-releasable.

A Narrated Tram Tour offers the guest a taste of various eco-systems. Visit the Wray Home Museum to experience South Florida living in the 1930's. Attend a Wildlife Encounter Show as the guest gets to meet some of the animals and learn about their relationship with the environment.
